How Nollywood pioneer actor, Obi Madubogwu died…Nollywood still in tears

According to DAYLIGHT.NG findings, the Ogidi, Anambra State-born actor, who has been battling diabetes for years, was said to have been rushed to the hospital on Monday, August 28, after he developed acute feverish conditions on Sunday.

 

Ace Nollywood producer and award winning scriptwriter, Chidi Nwokeabia confirmed to DAYLIGHT.NG in a phone chat that the thespian finally died in the hospital due to health complications after his condition worsened.

 

The remains of Madubogwu, who became famous with his role as King of Musanga, a blockbuster Nollywood movie produced by Gab Okoye (Gabosky), had already left for his home town, today, Tuesday, August 29, 2017, from where it would be buried at a yet-to-be-fixed date.

Several of his colleagues in the industry are still shocked and crying over the sad loss.
