Joshua says Fury fight possible now more than ever

Anthony Joshua has declared that a blockbuster fight with Tyson Fury is “more possible now than ever”, insisting the former WBC heavyweight champion has run out of options.

In an interview with Marca, the former two-time heavyweight titleholder said Fury must now face him after focusing on other opponents.

“I think it’s very possible. I think it’s more possible now than ever. He has no options anymore. He has to fight me,” Joshua told the Spanish publication.

The 35-year-old’s bold claim comes after Fury’s promoter, Frank Warren, revealed last month that the Morecambe star is eyeing a trilogy bout with Oleksandr Usyk rather than an all-British showdown with Joshua. Punch
