Justin Bieber challenges Tom Cruise to a fight

Justin Bieber bizarrely challenged Tom Cruise to a fight in a post on Twitter on Sunday.

Much to the confusion of his 106 million followers on the social media platform, Justin tweeted: “I wanna challenge Tom Cruise to fight in the octagon. Tom if you dont take this fight your scared and you will never live it down (sic).”

He concluded his post by tagging Dana White, the head of the UFC (United Fighting Championship), writing: “Who is willing to put on the fight? @danawhite ?”

White has yet to respond to Justin’s request. However, UFC fighter Conor McGregor has already stepped in and offered up his services, tweeting in reply: “If Tom Cruise is man enough to accept this challenge, McGregor Sports and Entertainment will host the bout. Does Cruise have the sprouts to fight, like he does in the movies? Stay tuned to find out!”

While the Sorry star’s tweet raised some eyebrows, sources close to the singer told The Blast that he “doesn’t actually want to fight (Tom) himself… he was just having a little fun on social media.”

And that’s probably just as well, considering the response from his Twitter followers.

Many pointed out the age difference between Justin, 25, and Tom, 56, with one writing: “Tom Cruise is almost 60, were there no 80 year olds to pick a fight with? And BTW he’d still kick your a*s.”

Another pointed out that if Justin’s tweet was a publicity bid, it failed, tweeting: “The best part about this is that Tom Cruise is the one trending…not @justinbieber . That’s gotta sting….”

Tom has yet to publicly respond to Justin’s fight request. Musicnews
