Kogi still missing on chart, as Nigeria vaccinates 513,626

The number of eligible Nigerians who have so far taken their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine as of Sunday has risen to 513,626
nationwide.

The figure, which was contained in a document prepared by the National Primary Health Care Development Agency, also showed that the nation has attained 25.5% proportion vaccinated

According to the document, only Kogi State has yet to start vaccination as of Friday while Kebbi and Taraba recorded one each.

The figure, which was compiled from the Electronic Management of Immunisation Data System Dashboard, showed that Lagos State remained the state with the highest vaccination figure of 110,042 as of Sunday.

Lagos, which is described as the epicentre of the pandemic, has remained the state with the highest number of people vaccinated since the compilation started.

Ogun is taking the second position on the chart with 47,507 persons so far vaccinated in the state

Ogun is followed by Kaduna State which has vaccinated 38,063. Punch
