Lagos says AMVCA participants exposed to coronavirus, urges all attendees to observe strict self-isolation

Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof Akin Abayomi said on Tuesday that participants at the recently held Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Award have been exposed to a confirmed case of coronavirus.

The AMVCA 7 was held on March 14 at Eko Hotels, Victoria Island, Lagos.

 

Abayomi, who stated this in a string of tweets, advised all attendees to observe strict self-isolation.

 

Of the 42 recorded COVID-19 cases in Nigeria, 29 are in Lagos, as of the time of filing this report.

Attendees at the said event are therefo advised to:
1️⃣observe strict self- isolation.
