Mixed reactions as Ekiti chef hits 60-hour cooking mark, set to beat Hilda Baci’s 100-hour record

Ekiti-based chef, Damilola Adeparusi, who is attempting to break Hilda Baci’s 100 hours cooking marathon completed in Lekki, Lagos State has cooked for over 60 hours.

Checks by The Nation shows the Ekiti chef has cooked for 62 hours as at the time of filing this report.

Over 1,000 viewers were hooked to her Facebook live session on Sunday, June 11.

The Nation reports chef Damilola’s attempt at beating Hilda’s record has since set many tongues wagging.

Following the development, photos and videos of Damilola in the kitchen setup cooking for different kinds of foods have been shared multiple times on social media. Damilola had earmarked 120 hours to break the yet-to-be-certified record made by Hida Baci.

Damilola is a 300-level Mass Communication undergraduate at the Federal University of Oye Ekiti.

She is representing a church, Spirit Word Global Mission, in the cook-a-thon currently in Ekiti State.
