Womenʼs Month Celebration Event In Partnership with Moqhaka Local Municipality

# Powered by Moleboheng Matli Foundation A 12 minute walk marking 12 years anniversary of Mmadipotwana Media will be held to commemorate the 1956 womenʼs march to union buildings fighting for their human rights and freedom.

27 years into the SA democracy SA has seen the rise in women empowerment varying from political leadership, parliamentary seating, government executive positions , corporate SA executive leadership not to mention foot print in male dominated sectors like construction, mining, engineering and even agriculture.

With all these great milestones walked by Mzansi and passionately nicknamed the rainbow nation, the Country faces unending brutality of women and children all all races.

Use pics of all the women killed in the past few years) With femicide sending shockwaves through the nation of South Africa and causing every woman and girl look over their shoulder in fear for their lives, another invisible enemy hits South Africa. Covid 19 pandemic has seen the Country call for the National state of disaster and putting the whole Country under national lockdown since 26 March up to date.

Mmadipotwana Media being 100% female owned, finds it only befitting to mark its entrepreneurial journey of 12years in one voice with all women and children of SA, the government and all stakeholders in saying “NO TO FEMICIDE”…

The day will have Executive Mayor of Moqhaka Local Municipality, Cllr Pule Lucky Phooko taking to streets to walk with the women as well as deliver a message to all women in attendance.

Event supported by Moqhaka Local Municipality, Mofaya Beverage Company, Wisdom Entertainment, Precious Malatjie Advisory and Consulting as well as Brotherhood Navigators Bikers Club situated in Kroonstad. All covid 19 rules and regulations shall be observed and enforced by SAPS as well as the Moqhaka Traffic Department.
