Nigeria’s Kaffy is guest on Glo-sponsored African Voices Changemakers

Guinness World Record holder for “Longest Dance Party”, Kaffy, is guest of African Voices Changemakers, magazine programme of the Cable News Network(CNN) powered by telecommunications solutions provider, Globacom.
The programme will be on the DSTV Channel 401 on CNN from Saturday at 9.30am and 5 30pm. It will again been on air on Sunday at 4.30am, 7.30am
and on Monday at 5.30am
Christened Kafayat Oluwatoyin Shafau but popularly addressed by her stage name Kaffy, she led her dance group, Imagneto Dance Company to dance for 55hours and 40minutes thereby setting a new world record in 2006. She was also Best Female Dancer of the Year 2014 at the African Muzik Magazine Awards.
Born in Lagos in June 1980, the Nigerian dancer, choreographer, dance instructor, fitness coach and mother of two children has applied her skills to the empowerment of willing youth in Nigeria. She will be telling her viewers how she equally gave back to her country especially during the Covid-19 pandemic.
In the same vein, Tileh Pacbro, Kenyan YouTube star, artist, dancer and choreographer who runs a dance academy named Dance 98 from his base in Lavington, Kenya will grace the studios of African Voices Changemakers
Pacbro’s recent dance video, ‘Coronavirus’ was a massive hit which he deployed to the education of his fans about the importance of taking precautionary measures against the Coronavirus pandemic.
The video raked in hundreds of thousands of views on the social media within 72 hours of its release catching the attention of international music stars including Cardi B. His group, Dance 98 has become an avenue for mentoring next generation of dancers in his native Kenya
