Nollywood star, Francis Duru loses father, burial holds April 29

Bereaved Nollywood star, Chief Francis Duru is currently mourning and at the same time planning the burial of his beloved father and patriarch of the Duru family, Pa Theophilus Ogide, aged 89.

According to the burial invite personally sent to DAYLIGHTNG by the multi-talented thespian, Pa Duru who died in September 2021, will be interred on April 29 at his compound at Okai, Eziama, Isiala, Mbano, Imo state.

“The burial activities for my great dad will begin with the wake on April 28, while the interment will follow suit the next day, April 29. And May 1, is the thanksgiving service. I am specially inviting all my friends, colleagues and well wishers to this solemn event. They should honour us with their presence and prayers”, he stated in a brief chat with DAYLIGHTNG.
