From BEN IBE, Umuahia

Prince Obinna Nwosu, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) House of Representatives candidate for Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency in the upcoming elections, says he is in the House of Reps contest with the sole interest of providing a better future for Ikwuano/Umuahia youths. Nwosu made this vow at the weekend while addressing Ikwuano/Umuahia youths in Umuahia.

According to him, he is in the House of Reps contest not for himself but to ensure that the people of Ikwuano/Umuahia, especially the youths, enjoy the dividends of democracy as well as inclusivity in governance.

Nwosu who stepped down from Abia State Governorship race due to his age, charged the youths to ensure they protect the democratic process of election in the coming contest, noting that it’s a duty they must undertake to avoid any one shortchanging them with wrong representatives.

” It’s all about you and your future, so you all must come out to protect it,” Nwosu advised.
” What I am doing now, you are the major reason behind why I am doing it. I am desperate to better the lives of Ikwuano/Umuahia people, especially the youths because the future belongs to the youths.”

He reinstated that if elected into the Green Chambers, he would create an enabling environment for youths to thrive even as he urged them to go around all the “nooks and crannies” of the constituency to convince the electorates to vote massively for ADC.

“Let me once again remind you about my plans to put in place a youth seating at table policy. This is very important in order to make sure the youths are adequately represented in every table of decision making. If we must build a functional society, the right individuals must get involved in politics,” Nwosu emphasized.

“Let me, therefore charge you with responsibility of making sure you carry this message of hope to all the nooks and crannies of Ikwuano/Umuahia.”
