Osun rerun: Turaki counsels Omisore

Frontline PDP Presidential hopeful, Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, SAN, has counselled the governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP in Osun State, Senator Iyiola Omisore that he owes it as a historic duty to the ordinary people in the state not to align with the forces that have plunged the the state into an unmitigated depravity of the human dignity and disastrous governance.

Turaki reminded Omisore that the enduring values of true democracy, good governance, social justice, accountability and human dignity which he is championing are alien to the APC.

He urged Omisore to be guided by the humiliation and deprivation which the pensioners, workers and market men and women went through in the hands of the outgoing Osun State Government.

Turaki therefore reminded Omisore further of the Yoruba adage which warns that, whatever will be poisonous to your system if eaten should not be put close to your nostrils at all.

It is better not to dine with the devil, even with a long spoon, Turaki added.
