PDP Presidential Hopeful, Tanimu Turaki Visits Edo

As part of his nationwide consultation tour, the frontline PDP Presidential hopeful, Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, SAN, arrived Benin, the capital of Edo State today, Monday, August 27, to meet with the State chapter of the party.

 

The historic visit, according to his media team, in a statement made available to DAYLIGHT.NG, is part of Turaki’s on-going consultations with state executive committees, elders, other party leaders and delegates to the forthcoming PDP National Convention.

 

Cerebral and articulate Turaki, who hails from Kebbi State and unarguably the strongest contender from the North West region, has led his campaign team on consultation visits to not less than 30 states in the country.

 

The SAN with a sound mind, equally hopes to cover the 36 states of the federation and the FCT before the primary proper.

 

Interestingly, KTT as he is fondly called has been receiving endorsements from several leading lights in the PDP, who are all rooting for him as the preferred candidate at the forthcoming primary of the party.
