Plateau: ‘Abducted Corps Member Was To Wed On Saturday’

Solomon Dansura, whose sister-in-law was kidnapped on Sunday in the Dong community of Jos North Local Government Area, Plateau State, has revealed that the victim had a wedding planned for this Saturday.

He said the abductees are still in captivity and expressed worry about their condition.

Dansura’s sister-in-law, Plandes Nelson, and a relative, Bride Benat, a 300-level student at the University of Jos, were abducted from his house when perpetrators broke into the compound at night while family members were about to go to bed.

According to Dansura, his sister-in-law is a corps member serving in Bauchi.

He stated that, “She has a wedding plan on Saturday and with the wedding process underway, she was supposed to return for the preparations. It was the wedding process that brought her back home.“ Daily Trust
