Police arrest man for allegedly raping schoolgirl in Anambra

A middle-aged man simply identified as Onuora, is now in police custody at the Inland Town Police Division in Onitsha, for allegedly raping a schoolgirl in the Onitsha area of Anambra State.

It was gathered that the suspect was arrested at the Ado Girls Secondary School, Onitsha by security operatives, who have been trailing him.

A police source told our correspndent that the suspect was in the habit of laying ambush around the school waiting for his victim.

Following the arrest of the suspect, the Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has demanded the remand of the suspect. Punch
