Reps mourn as former member, Tony Okey, dies

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, at the plenary on Wednesday, announced the death of a former member, Tony Okey.

Gbajabiamila, while making the announcement on Wednesday, said the late Okey served in the 4th National Assembly.

The Speaker stated that Okey served the country as member of the House from 1999 to 2003.

In line with their tradition, the lawmakers observed one minute silence in honour of the deceased. Punch
