Supporter shot at Desmond Elliot’s campaign rally

Information reaching DAYLIGHT.NG has it that a supporter was shot and fatally wounded last week, during the campaign rally of actor turned politician, Desmond Elliot, at Clegg street, Surulere, Lagos.

An insider, who spoke with DAYLIGHT.NG on the condition of anonymity, disclosed that an armed member of the politician’s campaign team opened fire during the campaign and mistakenly shot the victim, who is currently receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital.

All attempts to reach Elliot, who is seeking a return to the Lagos State House of Assembly proved abortive, prior to our publishing this story.
