Suspect arrested with human parts on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

Operatives of the Federal Highway Patrol on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in Oyo State have recovered a red cloth containing bones and other items suspected to be parts of a human corpse concealed among passengers’ luggage.

The Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer, Adewale Osifeso, disclosed this in a statement issued in Ibadan, the state capital, on Sunday.

According to the statement, the driver of the vehicle, Kazeem Ayegbo, who was travelling from Lagos to Osogbo, was apprehended during a routine stop-and-search operation along the axis.

Osifeso said the suspect would be charged to court upon the conclusion of investigations. Punch
