No fewer than three persons were reportedly killed by suspected cultists between last Friday and Tuesday in different parts of Abeokuta, Ogun State capital.

The killings came barely one year after a suspected cult leader simply identified as Tommy was killed in the Oluwo area of the state capital.

Tommy was killed on March 24, 2022.

His killing led to a bloody confrontation between members of the Aiye and Eiye cult groups.

Men of the state police command arrested many suspects in connection with the clashes.

Meanwhile, PUNCH Metro gathered that a young man was shot dead at Panseke by yet-to-be-identified persons on Friday.
