Third Coronavirus case: Lagos begins contact tracing of BA passengers
The Lagos State Government has said it has the manifest of British Airways flight that brought in the latest confirmed case of Coronavirus.
The state’s Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, made this revelation on Tuesday.
He said the contact tracing of the passengers on the flight with the 30-year-old British-returnee had commenced.
The PUNCH reports that the patient, which arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport on March 13, tested positive for Coronavirus on Tuesday.
Abayomi urged everyone on the flight to self-isolate for 14 days to avert any circle of transmission.
Abayomi said, “Lagos State Ministry of Health has the manifest of BA75 flight that brought the latest COVID-19 confirmed case to Lagos.
“Contact tracing of everyone on the flight has commenced.” Punch
