Uche Nwosu: Nigeria Police got it wrong – By AZUH AMATUS

I’m more perturbed and worried about the Gestapo-like invasion of a sacred place of worship by men of the Nigeria Police.

Have you also taken into consideration, the trauma and heart attack that unwarranted invasion might have caused worshippers, especially children, the elderly and other vulnerable persons in church that fateful Sunday?

With the spate of insecurity in the country, especially in south east, the police should not have made that totally wrong move.

It was a wrong and unprofessional move.

A simple invitation would have been appropriate.

Besides, the person they are looking for has a home and does not live in space or moon.

Have you also given a thought about what the collateral damage would have been like, if that invasion had gone south?

I am a father with my youngest son just three years old. And I also attend mass with my whole family every Sunday.

So imagine what would happen to my young family and I, if we find ourselves in such an ugly scenario.
