Weeping as gunmen kill four in Bauchi community
Gunmen have killed four people in Gambar Sabon Layi community in the Tafawa Balewa Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
PUNCH Metro gathered that the hoodlums also kidnapped one person while leaving the community.
A resident, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the gunmen stormed the area on Saturday and shot into the air to scare people away before carrying out their nefarious act.
He said the assailants kidnapped one Mr Daniel and killed the head of the area.
The state police spokesperson, Ahmed Wakil, in a statement on Sunday, however, said four people were killed, while one sustained varying degrees of injury.
