‘Why did you start with the mortuary?’ — Umo Eno tackles contractor at hospital site

Umo Eno, governor of Akwa Ibom, on Tuesday, expressed displeasure with a contractor for commencing the construction of Ekpene Udo General Hospital with a mortuary facility.

In a video showing the governor inspecting the project site with some state officials, Eno is seen questioning the contractor, an expatriate, who was conducting him around, on why construction began with the mortuary.

“Why did you start mortuary first, why mortuary, I say build hospital you started with mortuary, don’t say that kind of a thing again, don’t show me mortuary,” he told the contractor.
